What if you had only one day to live? What would you do? Who would you kiss? And how far would you go to save your own life?
Samantha Kingston has it all: the world’s most crush-worthy boyfriend, three amazing best friends, and first pick of everything at Thomas Jefferson High—from the best table in the cafeteria to the choicest parking spot. Friday, February 12, should be just another day in her charmed life.
Instead, it turns out to be her last.
Then she gets a second chance. Seven chances, in fact. Reliving her last day during one miraculous week, she will untangle the mystery surrounding her death—and discover the true value of everything she is in danger of losing. My Thoughts:
When I first saw it in books a million I was like, I got to have this book, not because of the summary, but because of the cover (when doesn't a cover catch someones eye). So instead of reading the summary in the store like most normal people I decided to look it up and read the summary and the reviews of it on the comments of the site I was on. So I bought it and at first I was like ah this is going to be good but, then I got so sucked into other books I stopped reading it until I finally sat down and read it all to find out I should of punched myself for having myself stop reading it. It's one of those books that once you finish it, it makes you look at life differently for a split second.
It made me look at everyone passing me in the halls at school and think that person could be my best friend or the person I need in my life to shape me into the person i was meant to be. Or maybe I really need to stand up for people more and just deep questions and thoughts I rarely ever think of. I must say this is one Awesome book, slow beginning yes, but what book doesn't, but I love the characters they just seemed so...i don't know the word for it, either way if you love books on life, friendship, second..I mean seven chances, and some laughs, then this is the book for you.
Hey there...new follower.
ReplyDeleteI loved this book. It made me sob at the end, but feel uplifted too. I love how she went through a personal transformation.
Great Review! I hadn't seen anyone review this book yet. That is a great effect. The way you described it reminds me of a Reba McIntyre song - i am not a big music, or country music person. But I think it's called "somebody in the next room." About how the person you see everyday could be the love of your life. But anyway you look at it this life is short. Awareness is great!Fangs, Wands and Fairy Dust
