"Summer is coming quickly - what 2011 summer release are you are most looking forward to?"

This is a really hard question.I'm looking frward to a lot of summer release's. hmm...I'm going to put two of them haha.

This thrilling sequel to the much-talked-about Nightshade begins just where it ended–Calla Tor wakes up in the lair of the Searchers, her sworn enemy, and she's certain her days are numbered. But then the Searchers make her an offer–one that gives her the chance to destroy her former masters and save the pack–and the man–she left behind. Is Ren worth the price of her freedom? And will Shay stand by her side no matter what? Now in control of her own destiny, Calla must decide which battles are worth fighting and how many trials true love can endure and still survive.

A lot has changed in the six months since Evie escaped from the International Paranormal Containment Agency with her shape-shifter boyfriend, Lend. She finally has the blissfully normal life she’s always dreamed of, including:
1) A real live high school
2) A perfectly ordinary after-school job
3) Her very own locker (and by the way, rusted metal is every bit as awesome as she imagined)

But Evie’s not-so-normal past keeps creeping up on her...and things get pretty complicated when you factor in:
1) A centuries-old, seriously decaying vampire stalker
2) A crazy faerie ex-boyfriend who is the perpetual bearer of really bad news
3) A major battle brewing between the faerie courts where the prize in question happens to be...Evie herself.

So much for normal.

I can't wait to see what Evie gets herself into and I can't wait to see what happens to Calla.

If you were stocking your bomb shelter, what books would you HAVE to include if you only had space for ten?

1)Delirium by Lauren Oliver
2)Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead
3)Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
4)Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
5)One of Ellen Hopkins books. (I can't choose at the moment)
6)TTYL By Lauren Myracle
7)One of Cassandra Clare's book from the Mortal Instrument Series
8)Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

Title: Misfit
Author: Jon Skovron
Publisher: Amulet
Release Date: August 2011

Jael Thompson has never really fit in. She’s changed schools too many times to count. The only family she’s ever known is her father, a bitter ex-priest who never lets her date and insists she attend the strictest Catholic school in Seattle. And her mother—well, she was a five thousand year old demon. That doesn’t exactly help.

But on her sixteenth birthday, her father gives her a present that brings about some unexpected changes. Some of the changes, like strange and wonderful powers and the cute skater boy with a knack for science, are awesome. But others, like the homicidal demon seeking revenge on her family? Not so much.

Steeped in mythology, this is an epic tale of a heroine who balances old world with new, science with magic, and the terrifying depths of the underworld with the ordinary halls of high school

"If you find a book you love, do you hunt down other books by the same author?"

Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. It all depends on what the story line of the author's other books are. Take for example Holly Black and Casandra Clare. I first books I've read of Holly Black's was Ironside which I loved and since I loved that series I decided to read White Cat since it sounded different and interesting but it turned out to be okay not amazing or anything. Also Cassandra Clare's Mortal instruments series which I love also even though I think it's going a bit down hill with the th book I loved her Prequel, The Infernal Devices series.

What is on your current playlist right now?

Many songs and bands right now like:

Florence + The Machine
All Time Low's song Time Bomb

City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare

Title: City of Fallen Angels (Mortal Instrument Series)
Author: Cassandra Clare
Publisher:McElderry Books (Simon and Schuster)
Release Date: April 5, 2011
Rating: 4/5

City of Fallen Angels takes place two months after the events of City of Glass. In it, a mysterious someone’s killing the Shadowhunters who used to be in Valentine’s Circle and displaying their bodies around New York City in a manner designed to provoke hostility between Downworlders and Shadowhunters, leaving tensions running high in the city and disrupting Clary’s plan to lead as normal a life as she can — training to be a Shadowhunter, and pursuing her relationship with Jace. As Jace and Clary delve into the issue of the murdered Shadowhunters, they discover a mystery that has deeply personal consequences for them — consequences that may strengthen their relationship, or rip it apart forever. Meanwhile, internecine warfare among vampires is tearing the Downworld community apart, and only Simon — the Daylighter who everyone wants on their side — can decide the outcome; too bad he wants nothing to do with Downworld politics. Love, blood, betrayal and revenge: the stakes are higher than ever in City of Fallen Angels.

Review:

CoF=the book title

Simon,Clary, and Jace are back and better than ever. Of course the series was originally suppose to be a trilogy, but instead is turned into a six book deal and of course I was one of those fans who were excited but also upset at the same time. If you say a book series is going to be a trilogy keep it at a trilogy. That's like JK Rowling saying she wants to write 5 more books to the Harry Potter Series, flat out ridiculous. Anywho I'm kind of glad she did a fourth book. In City of Fallen Angels you get a variety of point of views, but the most point of view you read in is Simon's since basically most of the plot is circled around him. There are some new characters, characters that you heard about but never met, and more involvement of old characters, which I absolutely loved. I loved almost everything about CoF from the details of where abouts, the writing, the characters just almost everything I loved, but there are somethings that I didn't love and some setbacks on the book.

I love romance and drama in books, but when the whole book is nothing but relationship problems rather than focusing on what the plot is all about you start to get annoyed and bored a little and want to skip over the relationship drama. The book like I kind of mentioned before was pretty well written and plotted out, but to me it felt like everything happened in an amount of two days instead of almost a week. Everything just happened so fast in the book everything just blurs together and your like wasn't this or that suppose to happen, but never did. Also (sorry for this spoiler, but everyone knew this was bound to happen) the book was kind of centered around the wedding of Clary's mom and Luke, but there was no wedding which means it's going to be in the next book, which a little bit agitates me since Clary was nagging Simon a lot about fixing his relationship problems before the wedding on Saturday.

Thus making the series one of the series i'm becoming skeptical about because there are a lot of details in the book I can sense that are going to be stretched out in the remaining books like Clary and Jace's I love you, but can't have you relationship, Simon being an untouchable and also an outcast, and a whole lot of stuff. Moving onto the dialogue, I always loved the character's witty banter going back and forth at each other but to me, I'm not sure if anyone else felt this way but it seemed a bit forced and everyonce in a while cheesy throughout the book. It didn't feel natural like it did when it was a trilogy, which basically goes back to why trilogys should stay a trilogy. Other than the minor things that I hope wont affect me from loving this series I loved CoF it was pretty much awesome. I forgot to mention you did a little deeper into why Isabelle acts the way she is and take a little peek into Maia's past also :D.
