Book Blogging Hop (1)

This is my very first Book Blogging Hop and i'm so excited about it :D. Book Blogging Hop is all about book bloggers, readers and ect to come together and mingle and share what we all (hopefully) love, which are books. The question for today is:

What's your favorite book cover?

It's pretty much hard for me to choose just one book cover that's my absolute favorite, so i've decided to choose two that either gives you a clue of what covers I find pretty awesome or the covers that some what moved me in a way. I love book covers that tell stories without you having to pick up the book to read the summary of it. I love the mysterious feel of both book covers. The balance of blue, black and grey that makes you feel the sadness of the girl on the Fallen book cover or wonder about the steps on Beautiful Darkness. Is the girl lost? Is she cursed? Did she lose her family?Where do those stairs lead to? How old are they? Are they some type of key place a person is suppose to be or find? questions like that pop up in my mind. As you can see I have a wonderous/imaginative mind and it doesnt take words to trigger it.

  5. Blog-hopping by to return the visit and follow! I love both covers, but I'm especially intrigued by the creepy broken-down stairs on Beautiful Darkness' cover--Gothic YA at its finest, right there. :-)

  7. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm following back :)

Looks like the Fallen series is popular for this weeks question. I do love those covers as well. Wish I liked the books as much as the covers :/

  8. New follower here, maybe you'll want to follow back? I love those covers too but my pick was Nightshade. After visiting other blogs though, I came across one who had chosen Luminous! BEAUTIFUL!!!! If you haven't seen it, go check it out!

  9. It is always a must to be honest in reviews regardless of how they came out. With all the answers that I am seeing it really shows that everything depends on a person preference in how they will love or hate a book.

Dropping by from the hop. Visit me at Clandestine Sanctuary to know my answer. I am a new follower. :)

    Have a great weekend.

  10. To change it go to the very top of your page and it should say design. If it doesn't click sign in if that is an option or dashboard. That will take you to the inner workings of your blog where you can add gadgets and things. Then on the right hand side, just click on the followers label and drag it to the top "Add Gadget" box. It won't go to the very top. There's always one box at the top. If you click on a blank add gadget box, it will take you into blogger where you can add all kinds of things like when people say add their contest to their sidebar you copy and paste the html then go to that button and put it in the box that opens up and save. Then save it on your blog and it appears where you want it. Just play around with things. You can always remove things. It's never a done deal.
