Waiting on Wednesday (3, 4,& 5)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that bloggers are eagerly anticipating.
This week i'm going to feature three upcoming books. Why?because:
1) I've been slacking off with "Waiting on Wenesdays"
and
2) The books i'm going to show are coming out within two weeks. So it's more of "Informing Wednesday" than "Waiting On" since it's not that far away :D

Title: Awakened (House of Night #8 (Sadly))
Author: P.C and Kristin Cast
Release Date: January 4, 2011

At the start of Awakened, the pulse-pounding eighth installment of the bestselling House of Night series, Zoey has returned, mostly whole, from the Otherworld to her rightful place as High Priestess at the House of Night. Her friends are just glad to have her back, but after losing her human consort, Heath, will Zoey - or her relationship with her super-hot Warrior, Stark - ever be the same? Stevie Rae is drawn even closer to Rephaim, the Raven Mocker with whom she shares a mysterious and powerful Imprint, but he is a dangerous secret that isolates her from her school, her red fledglings, and even her best friends. When the dark threat of Neferet - who is coming closer and closer to achieving her twisted goal of immortality - and Kalona returns, what will it take to keep the House of Night from being lost forever, and what will one desperate girl do to keep her heart from being irreparably broken?

Title: Prom and Prejudice
Author: Elizabeth Eulberg
Realease Date: originally the first week of January, but recently moved to the week of December 27th, 2010, Link here for more info:
http://www.elizabetheulberg.com/blog/

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single girl of high standing at Longbourn Academy must be in want of a prom date.

After winter break, the girls at the very prestigious, very wealthy, girls-only Longbourn Academy are suddenly obsessed with the prom, which they share with the nearby, equally elitist, all-boys Pemberley School. Lizzie Bennet, who attends Longbourn on scholarship, isn't exactly interested in designer dresses and expensive shoes, but her best friend, Jane, might be-especially now that Charles Bingley is back from a semester in London.

Lizzie is happy about her friend's burgeoning romance, but less than impressed by Will Darcy, Charles's friend, who's snobby and pretentious. Darcy doesn’t seem to like Lizzie either, but she assumes it's because her family doesn't have money. Clearly, Will Darcy is a pompous jerk—so why does Lizzie find herself drawn to him anyway?

Will Lizzie’s pride and Will’s prejudice keep them apart? Or are they a prom couple in the making?

Title: The Lost Saint
Author: Bree Despain
Release Date: December 28, 2010 (even though at Books- A- Million they put it out early)

The non-stop sequel to The Dark Divine delivers an even hotter romance and more thrilling action than Bree Despain's first novel. Grace Divine made the ultimate sacrifice to cure Daniel Kalbi. She gave her soul to the wolf to save him and lost her beloved mother. When Grace receives a haunting phone call from Jude, she knows what she must do. She must become a Hound of Heaven. Desparate to find Jude, Grace befriends Talbot - a newcomer to town who promises her that he can help her be a hero. But as the two grow closer, the wolf grows in Grace, and her relationship with Daniel begins to crumble. Unaware of the dark path she is walking, Grace becomes prideful in her new abilities - not realizing that an old enemy has returned and deadly trap is about to be sprung. Readers, raveous for more Grace and Daniel, will be itching to sink their teeth into The Lost Saint.

Thoughts:
Just like almost everyone else with the House of Night Series, i'm in love with it :D, but lately it's been kind of going down hill.Plus most of my friends wish the series would come to an end instead of write 15 books to the series, there's no point to drag out uneccesary petty details. But hopefully this one will be good.

The second book showing, which is, Prom and prejudice which sounds really cute even though it's kind of a rip off of Pride and Prejudice (which I love the movie featuring Kiera Knightly in it). Also I loved Elizabeth Eulberg's last book The Lonely Heart's club which I did a review on here.

Last, but not least the one i've been dying to read since i've finished The Dark Divine before school was out of this year. As soon as I get some money i'm heading straight for Books A Million since they put it out, like not even a week of it's early date.
